Anyone Out There

Maybe no one's responded because you haven't yet found this blog. Or, maybe, the reason is you don't believe saying anything to the church will make a difference anyway. The church doesn't have a very good track record of listening to people. And that won't change unless we make an attempt to change it. Thoughts?

Tell Me What You Think

A flash of inspiration hit this morning as I visited with my friend Thom Schultz. Thom founded Group Publishing back in 1974. He and I share a common passion to make the Christian Church more active and effective for our Lord Jesus Christ. While I've chosen to vent my frustration with a lethargic, ineffective and often hurtful church in a different blog Thom helped me see that I've been doing what so many of us who are or have worked in the church do. We talk incessantly and often never take time to listen.

This blog is my attempt to listen. From where you sit...in a church, outside of a church, burned by the church, never set foot in a church...how would you make church better? What do you have to say to your pastor, any pastor or youth worker or church elder?

My hope is to gather comments and pull themes that will become threads for other posts to generate more comments. Please share...I'm listening.
